My week of babysitting is finally over! :D Living in the country was torture. Well, I usually describe where I live as “country,” but this was like, COUNTRY country…farms everywhere. XD So glad to be home~~!~ ♥

I thought I’d do a quick update on the condition of my hair. For those of you who are not friends with me on Facebook, this is what my hair looked like after that horrible bleaching/dying incident:

The ends were broken, and my hair was super dry and frizzy with a rubbery texture. The camera actually does it justice. It was much more horrible in person.

Well, after nearly one month of using Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Anti-Breakage Shampoo and Conditioner, as well as Garnier Fructis 3-Minute Undo Dryness Reversal Treatment every other day, I’m proud to say my hair now looks like this:

SUCH an improvement, wouldn’t you say? :D I lost a good bit of length and volume (I haven’t even had it trimmed yet!), but at least it’s smooth and doesn’t break anymore!

Now that my hair’s condition has improved, I feel more inspired to put effort into my makeup again! :D Here’s what I did tonight (my best friend and I decided to go get sushi at the restaurant I work at):

I’m wearing my King Brown circle lenses~~!~ I love them! :D I want to get some accent lashes and bottom lashes.

My outfit. Awkward pose, but the shirt is loose and flowy and I certainly did not want my boobies in the picture. XD Anyway, the glasses are from Claire’s, the top is from Rue 21, the cropped jeans are American Eagle, and I also wore white ballet flats from Payless.

Also! The white spots on my mirror (that I covered with sparkles haha) are from a curling spray. NOTHING seems to get them off! Any advice?

Enough about ME…let’s look at some food!

I will most likely not be updating this week. My mom’s best friend and her husband are in Cancun, Mexico, for vacation this week. I’m living in their home to watch their two sons. They’re actually old enough to take care of themselves, but the parents want me there to make sure the kids actually get up and go to school every day, haha. :P And since they live way out in the country and the oldest son is still too young to get his driver’s license, I have to be there in case of an emergency.

They’re such well behaved kids, though. It’s really like no work at all…and I’m getting paid for it! XD

Anyway, a mini gaming update:
Jesse and I have been kind of bored on WoW lately, mostly because our guild has become inactive. Some of the most outgoing members in our small, casual guild left for raiding guilds. We once had over 100 players, most of which were active, and now we are down to 26. Well, our guild leader got on the other night and informed us that he hasn’t been on all that much because one of his toons on the Alliance side of another server was unexpectly promoted to the leader position of a guild over there…and then the former leader just up and left, taking all of his characters out. So, our leader has been busy with his new guild. I asked some questions about it, and apparently it has a lot of active players on it. So, I started a Night Elf Rogue on the Borean Tundra US server, and joined the new guild, Warlords. Everyone seems so nice and fun, but I’m also hoping that this doesn’t turn into me going all Alliance. XD I doubt it will, though! I love being Horde too much. ♥

I posted a while back about how I was thinking about buying a new pair of circle lenses. At the time, I was debating between various types of grey lenses, with a possibility of choosing green. After reading comments, I was pretty set on getting the Super Nudy Grey circle lenses. Well, when it was time to buy a pair…I went off in a different direction and bought a pair of the King Brown Lenses. Color-wise, you can’t tell I’m wearing lenses because they’re pretty much the same exact color as my natural eyes. But the enlargement effect is…WOW! Amazing! Not to mention they’re super comfortable. Well, the left one, at least. My right eye seems to be super sensitive. I tried putting what is normally my left lens in my right eye and it was still uncomfortable, so it’s definitely my eye and not the lens. :P

This is from the day they arrived in the mail. I was so excited that I ran home and popped them in, even though I already had my eye make on (’tis why my eyelashes are messy and some of my eyeliner rubbed off). I’m so glad I decided not to wear under-eye make that day! ;)

I just wanted to share this with you guys because I thought it was funny. I bought Jesse the Special Edition of Bioshock 2, and it came with a poster that he wanted to frame. Unfortunately, it’s an odd size (11×14in), and the closest frame we could find was a 12×16. I told him we could paint the white paper that comes with the frame and then center the poster over it to make it look better. Well, since the middle of it was going to be covered by the poster anyway, I let my DA:O fandom kick in and attempted to paint the dragon in less than three minutes. I like how it turned out. I think I’m going to seriously try to make a good one once I have time…and thinner paint brushes. :D

A friend shared this with me…definitely a good lol.

We have a group of LARPers at my school, and I’d actually love to join them, as nerdy as that is.
I just don’t have the time. I guess I should be thankful for that…?

Wow, it’s been nearly two weeks since I posted! I haven’t been abandoning my blog, I promise! I’ve been checking in every day. I just haven’t realized how much time was passing. My weeks have been so busy! Last week, I worked nearly 40 hours, on top of going to school! It was exhausting. And this week, I’ve been catching up on all the school work I put off due to my job. Luckily, classes were cancelled Wednesday and today due to the snowstorm. :D And I wasn’t scheduled to work, either! I was snowed in at my best friend’s house, so it was good fun.

My hair is looking much better! I’ve been using Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Anti-Breakage Shampoo and Conditioner, leaving the conditioner in for 3-5 minutes. Then I use Garnier’s 3-minute Undo Dryness Reversal Treatment, because it has avocado and olive oils in it, which I’ve heard are really good for damaged hair. Other than that, I just use a light leave-in conditioner. My hair is soft again, and I no longer have any breakage. I’m going to continue to do this until I go to Japan. I plan on getting the color fixed over there. :D

I plan on playing Dragon Age after I do some work around the house, so expect a post about that soon!

ALSO: Like Jenny, I’ve jumped on the bandwagon and joined Formspring. Ask me questions!
